- 🦪 100g oysters, shelled
Meat
- 150g ground pork
Vegetables
- 80g burdock root, thinly sliced
- 🥕 80g carrot, thinly sliced
- 200g shungiku, halved
- 🧅 5cm spring onion, minced
Dairy / Tofu
- 🧈 150g firm tofu, quartered
Seasoning
- 🧂 1 tsp salt for oysters
- 2 tbsp miso
- Shichimi to taste
Meatball Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
Hot Pot Seasoning
- 1000ml water
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
BƯỚC
Mix water and salt in a bowl, add oysters, and gently wash. Drain the water.
Prepare vegetables: thinly slice burdock root, mince spring onion, thinly slice carrot, halve shungiku, and quarter tofu.
Mix ground pork, minced spring onion, and meatball seasonings in a bowl. Form into 6 meatballs.
Add hot pot seasonings to a pot and heat over medium. Once boiling, add meatballs and skim off any foam. Reduce heat and add burdock root and carrot, cover, and cook for 3 minutes.
Add oysters, tofu, and miso dissolved in a ladle. Add shungiku.
Cover and cook for 3 minutes until oysters are fully cooked.
