Fish
- 🐟 4 sardines (480g)
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion (100g)
- 🧄 1 clove garlic
- 1 chili pepper
Herbs & Spices
- 1 bay leaf
Oils
- 50cc olive oil
Seasonings
- 50cc white wine
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- Pinch of black pepper
BƯỚC
Cut the onion into quarters. Halve the garlic and remove the core. Halve the chili pepper and remove seeds.
Scale the sardines using a knife, remove the head, open the belly, and clean out the innards. Rinse under running water and pat dry. Cut into halves.
Place sardines, onion, garlic, chili pepper, and bay leaf in a pan. Drizzle olive oil over the ingredients and heat over medium-high heat.
Once simmering, add white wine, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 minutes until sardines are cooked through.
