    • 100g komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach)
  • Seasonings

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 2 tbsp mirin
    • 🧂 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1/2 tsp grated ginger
    • 2 tsp potato starch

Cut the sweet potato in half lengthwise, then slice into 1cm thick half-moons. Soak in water for 5 minutes to remove bitterness, then drain. Cut the roots off the komatsuna and chop into 3cm pieces.

In a microwave-safe container, mix the ground chicken with all the seasonings. Add the sweet potato and mix well. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 4 minutes.

Add the komatsuna to the container, mix again, and microwave at 600W for another 2 minutes. Stir well before serving.
