Vegetables
- 300g taro, peeled and cut
- 8 pieces (100g) konjac
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 100cc water
BƯỚC
Peel the taro and cut into bite-sized pieces. Rub with salt (1 tsp, not listed in ingredients) in a bowl, then rinse with water to remove the sliminess.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat. Add taro and konjac, stir-frying for 2–3 minutes.
Add the seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, and water) and mix. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 8–10 minutes until the taro softens.
Remove the lid and simmer further, stirring to coat the taro and konjac with the sauce until thickened.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onions.
