Vegetables
- 🥬 100g spinach
- 🍄 2 shiitake mushrooms
Staples
- 20g vermicelli
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- 💧 400ml water
Garnish
- Pinch of toasted sesame seeds
BƯỚC
Trim the spinach roots, wash thoroughly, and cut into 4cm pieces. Slice shiitake caps thinly and shred the stems.
Cut vermicelli into manageable lengths using kitchen scissors.
Boil 100ml water in a pot, add spinach, cover, and steam for 1 minute. Remove the lid and cook until wilted. Drain and rinse in cold water, then squeeze out excess moisture.
Add the seasoning ingredients (water, salt, pepper, soy sauce, chicken stock powder) to the pot and bring to a boil. Add shiitake and vermicelli, simmer on low heat for 2-3 minutes until vermicelli softens.
Add spinach to the pot, stir, and drizzle sesame oil.
Serve in bowls and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
