Meat
- 150g ground pork
Wrapper
- 2 sheets fried tofu skin (40g)
Liquid
- 💧 150cc water
Seasoning for Meat
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp potato starch
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
BƯỚC
Wipe off excess oil from the fried tofu skin using a paper towel. Cut along one edge to open it into a flat sheet.
In a bowl, mix ground pork with salt, pepper, grated ginger, and potato starch until sticky to form the meat filling.
Place the tofu skin with the inner side facing up. Spread half of the meat filling evenly, leaving about 1.5cm at the edge. Roll tightly and secure the end with a toothpick. Repeat for the second roll.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned. Flip and add water and sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 7–8 minutes. Flip again, cover, and simmer for another 2–3 minutes. Remove and let cool.
Remove toothpicks, slice into bite-sized pieces, and serve on a plate. Pour the remaining sauce over the rolls.
