Cut the Brussels sprouts in half. Crush and roughly chop the garlic. Remove the shrimp's vein.
Place the Brussels sprouts and 1 tbsp of water in a microwave-safe container. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 1 minute. Let cool and pat dry.
Heat olive oil, garlic, salt, and chili slices in a frying pan over low heat until fragrant. Add shrimp and Brussels sprouts, then cook over medium heat until the shrimp changes color.
