Main Ingredients
- 🍗 300g chicken tenderloin
- 🍠 2 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Seasoning
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oligosaccharide
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/3 cup water
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
चरण
Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
Cut the chicken tenderloin into similar-sized pieces as the sweet potatoes.
Season the chicken pieces with salt and black pepper. Let it marinate for 5–10 minutes.
Coat the chicken pieces evenly with cornstarch. Do the same for the sweet potato pieces.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the sweet potatoes until golden brown.
After frying the sweet potatoes, fry the chicken pieces until golden brown.
Drain the fried pieces on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
In a pan, combine water, minced garlic, ketchup, oligosaccharide, sugar, soy sauce, and mirin. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
Add the fried sweet potatoes and chicken to the sauce. Toss until evenly coated.
Serve the Sweet Potato Chicken Gangjeong warm and enjoy.
