Main Ingredients
- 🐙 50g boiled octopus
- 🧅 3 stalks green onion
- 10g pickled ginger
- 2 tbsp tempura flakes
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- to taste aonori (seaweed flakes)
Batter
- 50g takoyaki flour
- 🥚 1 egg
- 💧 150cc water
Teriyaki Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 💧 2 tbsp water
Egg Tartar Sauce
- 🥚 1 boiled egg
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
चरण
Cut the boiled octopus into 8mm cubes.
Slice the green onion thinly and roughly chop the pickled ginger.
Mix the batter ingredients in a bowl, then add green onion, pickled ginger, and tempura flakes.
Heat salad oil in a rectangular pan, pour in the batter, and cook over medium heat. Add octopus pieces and fold the batter. Cook until firm, flipping occasionally.
Wash the pan, then mix teriyaki sauce ingredients and heat until thickened.
Mash the boiled egg in a bowl and mix with mayonnaise to make the tartar sauce.
Plate the square takoyaki, drizzle with teriyaki sauce and egg tartar, then sprinkle with aonori.
