Meat
- 🍗 250g boneless chicken thighs
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 green onion, sliced
Cooking Oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Starch
- Adequate amount of cornstarch
Seasoning
- 2-3 tbsp mirin
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp grated ginger
चरण
Wash the chicken thighs under running water and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
Lightly coat both sides of the chicken with cornstarch.
Slice the green onion diagonally and set aside.
Mix mirin, soy sauce, sugar, and grated ginger to prepare the seasoning.
Heat a pan and add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.
Place the chicken skin-side down and cook until golden brown over medium heat.
Flip the chicken, remove excess oil with a paper towel, and add the green onion.
Pour the seasoning around the edges of the pan and simmer on low heat until thickened.
Once the chicken is cooked, transfer to a plate and drizzle the remaining sauce over the skin.
