    • 🐟 200g yellowtail fillet
  • Tofu

    • 200g fried tofu
  • Vegetables

    • 🧅 80g green onion, sliced
    • 3–4 slices ginger
  • Cooking Oil

    • 1/2 tbsp salad oil
  • Seasoning

    • 1 tbsp sake
    • 1 tbsp mirin
    • 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 💧 100ml water

Slice the green onion diagonally into 1cm pieces.

Pat the fried tofu with a paper towel to remove excess oil. Cut into halves and then into 2cm wide pieces.

Pat the yellowtail fillet dry with a paper towel and cut into thirds.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the yellowtail and cook for about 2 minutes until browned. Flip and repeat.

Add the seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, water), fried tofu, green onion, and ginger to the pan. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.

Uncover the pan and spoon the sauce over the yellowtail while cooking on medium heat until the sauce thickens.
