Main Ingredients
- 1 head aged kimchi
- 1 kg pork neck slices
- 🧅 1 large onion
- 1 stalk green onion
Seasonings
- 8 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 4 tbsp corn syrup
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2–3 tbsp sugar
- A pinch of black pepper
- 300 ml water
手順
Prepare the aged kimchi by cutting it into halves and removing excess seasoning or stuffing between the layers.
Prepare the pork neck slices and set them aside.
Place the pork neck slices between the layers of the aged kimchi.
Cut the onion into large chunks and spread them across the bottom of a pot.
Place the layered kimchi and pork on top of the onions in the pot.
Mix soy sauce, corn syrup, minced garlic, black pepper, sugar, and water to create the seasoning sauce.
Pour the seasoning sauce over the kimchi and pork in the pot, cover with a lid, and bring to a boil.
After 10 minutes, uncover the pot and ladle the broth over the top layers of kimchi and pork. Continue simmering for 20–30 minutes.
Slice the green onion and sprinkle it over the dish. Simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes.
Serve the dish by tearing the kimchi into bite-sized pieces and slicing the pork for easy plating.
