Main Ingredients
- 🦑 1 whole squid, cleaned and sliced
- 🥚 1 pack of peeled quail eggs
- 1/2 tsp vegetable oil
- 💧 1/2 cup water
- 🌱 A pinch of sesame seeds
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 🧂 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
手順
Clean the squid by removing its innards and skin. Score the inside with fine cuts and slice into bite-sized pieces.
Heat a pan and add 1/2 tsp of vegetable oil. Stir-fry the squid on high heat for 20 seconds.
Mix all the seasonings into a sauce.
Pour the sauce over the stir-fried squid and cook on high heat for 1 minute.
Add the quail eggs to the pan once the sauce thickens slightly.
Add 1/2 cup of water and simmer on medium heat for 20 seconds, then increase to high heat to reduce the sauce.
Cook until the sauce is reduced and thickened. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
