Main Ingredients
- 200g tofu
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oligosaccharide
- 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion
- 🥕 1 tbsp chopped carrot
- 🧅 1/4 onion
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- Sesame seeds to taste
Seasoning Sauce
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oligosaccharide
- 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion
- 🥕 1 tbsp chopped carrot
- 🧅 1/4 onion
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- Sesame seeds to taste
手順
Cut the tofu and remove excess moisture using a kitchen towel to prevent oil splatter during frying.
Prepare the seasoning sauce by finely chopping green onion and carrot. Slice onion into bite-sized pieces. Mix soy sauce, oligosaccharide, green onion, carrot, minced garlic, sesame oil, and sesame seeds.
Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan and fry the tofu on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Spread the prepared seasoning sauce evenly over the fried tofu.
Simmer the tofu with the sauce on low heat until the sauce is absorbed.
If vegetables are undercooked, cover the pan and cook further on low heat. Monitor closely to avoid burning.
Serve the braised tofu as a simple side dish or main dish. The seasoning sauce can also be used for stir-frying fish cakes or mushrooms.
