Tofu Braising Ingredients
- 🧈 1 block soft tofu
- 100g chives
- 3 green chili peppers
- Adequate amount of cooking oil
Seasoning Sauce
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 tbsp corn syrup
- 4 tbsp chili powder
- 🧄 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 💧 100ml water
手順
Prepare the soft tofu by rinsing it and wrapping it in a cloth to remove excess moisture.
Cut the tofu into 1cm thick slices.
Heat cooking oil in a rectangular frying pan and fry the tofu slices until golden brown on both sides.
Set aside the fried tofu and prepare the chives by cutting them into 3cm pieces. Slice the chili peppers and rinse them to remove seeds.
Mix minced garlic, soy sauce, corn syrup, chili powder, sesame oil, sesame seeds, and water to create the seasoning sauce.
Add the chives and chili peppers to the seasoning sauce and mix thoroughly.
Place the fried tofu in a pan and generously spread the chive seasoning sauce over it. Cook on high heat until boiling, then reduce to low heat and simmer.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and continue simmering until the sauce is almost fully absorbed.
