- 2 roots of burdock
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 cups cooking oil
Seasoning
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 💧 3 tbsp water
- A pinch of chili powder
- 🌰 A pinch of sesame seeds
手順
Wash the burdock thoroughly, slice diagonally, and soak in cold water for 10 minutes. Drain the water.
Pat dry the burdock slices with a kitchen towel and mix with 1 tbsp of cornstarch.
When the burdock becomes moist, add another 1 tbsp of cornstarch and mix well.
Deep-fry the burdock slices until crispy.
Remove excess oil from the fried burdock slices.
