Main Ingredients
- 1/2 block tofu
- 🧀 1 slice cheese
- 1 tbsp flour
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🧅 1 stalk green onion
- 1 tsp black sesame seeds
Sauce Ingredients
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 10 tbsp kombu water
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp ginger wine
- 1 tbsp starch water

Prepare the sauce by combining soy sauce, kombu water, sugar, and ginger wine in a small pan. Bring to a boil.
Add starch water to the boiling sauce and stir until slightly thickened. Turn off the heat.
Cut the tofu block in half, making one side slightly thicker. Hollow out the thicker piece halfway.
Cut the cheese slice into quarters and place them inside the hollowed tofu.
Cover the hollowed tofu with the other piece and lightly coat with flour.
Dip the tofu in beaten egg and pan-fry in a heated, oiled pan until golden brown on all sides.
Place the fried tofu on a plate, pour the prepared sauce generously over it, and garnish with chopped green onions and black sesame seeds.
