Main Ingredients
- 🥔 3 potatoes
- 15 tteokbokki rice cakes
- 🧀 desired amount of mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp chili pepper
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- 🧂 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp rice syrup
- 💧 2 tbsp water
手順
Cut the potatoes into 6–8 wedges.
Soak the potato wedges in water briefly, then rinse multiple times under running water.
Boil the potato wedges in a pot with water for 1–2 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan and fry the potato wedges until golden brown on both sides.
Pan-fry the tteokbokki rice cakes until slightly crispy, then set aside.
Combine gochujang, ketchup, soy sauce, hot sauce, sugar, rice syrup, and water in the pan. Bring to a boil, then add the tteokbokki rice cakes and simmer until coated.
Arrange the fried potato wedges in a circular pattern in the pan. Ensure about 1 tbsp of oil remains on the pan bottom.
Place the tteokbokki rice cakes on top of the potato wedges.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and chili pepper on top. Cover the pan and cook on low heat until the cheese melts.
