- 3 bunches of lettuce
- 🧅 3 green onions, chopped
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 🍬 2/3 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1/2 tbsp doenjang (Korean soybean paste)
- 1 tbsp perilla oil
- 🧂 1 pinch black pepper
- 🌰 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Prepare the seasoning by mixing red pepper flakes, minced garlic, vinegar, sugar, gochujang, doenjang, perilla oil, black pepper, and sesame seeds in a bowl.
Wash the lettuce thoroughly and prepare it for blanching.
Boil water with 1 tbsp of salt and blanch the lettuce stems first, followed by the leaves for 30 seconds.
Cool the blanched lettuce in cold water and drain thoroughly.
Cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and chop the green onions.
Place the lettuce and green onions into the seasoning bowl and mix well.
Serve the seasoned lettuce as a side dish.
