Main Ingredients
- 🥔 1 potato
- 🌭 8-10 Vienna sausages
Seasonings
- 💧 1 cup water
- 🧂 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧄 1/3 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 🌰 a pinch of sesame seeds
手順
Cut the potato into bite-sized pieces and make shallow cuts in the sausages. Optionally, cut the sausages in half.
Boil the potato pieces until partially cooked. This prevents them from breaking apart during braising.
Add 1 cup of water to a pot and start making the braising sauce.
Add the potatoes and Vienna sausages to the pot. You can add the sausages later during cooking if preferred.
Add all seasonings except sesame oil: minced garlic, soy sauce, corn syrup, and sugar.
Simmer the mixture over medium heat until the sauce thickens and the potatoes are fully cooked.
Once the sauce has reduced, drizzle 1 tbsp of sesame oil over the dish and mix well.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve the dish warm.
