Vegetables
- 🍄 3 fresh shiitake mushrooms
- 🥕 A small amount of carrot
- 🧅 1 small onion
- 🧅 A small amount of green onion
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp plum syrup
- 1 tbsp mirin
- A small amount of ground pepper
- 🧂 A small amount of salt
- 💧 2 small cups of water
- 1.5 small cups of starch water
- 🌰 A small amount of sesame seeds
手順
Slice the mushrooms and vegetables as shown in the image. Cut the green onion diagonally into long pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion first until it becomes slightly transparent (about 1/3 cooked). Then add the carrot and shiitake mushrooms and continue to stir-fry.
Once the onion is about 2/3 transparent, add water (2 small cups) and the prepared seasonings. Bring the mixture to a boil.
When the ingredients are cooked, pour in the starch water and add the sliced green onion. Stir quickly and boil once more.
Serve the mixture over freshly cooked rice. Enjoy as a complete meal without needing side dishes.
