- 🍗 1 whole chicken
- 🧂 1 tsp salt
- Parsley powder as needed
Garlic Sauce
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 6 tbsp oligosaccharide syrup
- 🧄 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 💧 5 tbsp water

Rinse the chicken under running water multiple times to remove bone fragments and blood.
Make deep cuts on the chicken to ensure even cooking.
Season the chicken with 1 tsp salt and parsley powder. No need to over-season as garlic sauce will be applied later.
Prepare the garlic sauce by boiling 4 tbsp soy sauce, 6 tbsp syrup, 2 tbsp minced garlic, and 5 tbsp water.
Preheat the air fryer at 180°C for 5–10 minutes.
Cook the chicken in the air fryer at 180°C for 10 minutes without applying the sauce yet.
Flip the chicken and cook at 200°C for 10 minutes. Apply the prepared garlic sauce using a silicone brush. Repeat this process 2–3 times as needed.
Serve with additional sauce if available, especially leftover sauce from previous meals.
