Vegetables
- 🥔 2 potatoes
- 🧅 1/4 onion
- 🥕 a small amount of carrot
Seasonings
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- a small amount of sesame seeds
手順
Cut potatoes, onion, and carrot into bite-sized pieces. Rinse potatoes once or twice to remove starch.
Place potatoes in a pot with 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sugar, and enough water to cover the potatoes. Boil on high heat.
Reduce to medium-low heat and simmer until the potatoes are partially cooked.
Add onion and carrot to the pot and continue simmering.
Taste and adjust seasoning. Add more soy sauce if needed or corn syrup for additional sweetness. Finish with 1/2 tbsp sesame oil.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve on a plate. Enjoy!
