Main Ingredients
- 1 can small-sized spam
- 8 perilla leaves
- 2 sheets gimbap seaweed
Egg Mixture
- 🥚 4 eggs
- 2 stalks chopped green onion
- 1 tbsp cooking wine
- 🧂 0.3 tsp salt
- 🥕 2 tbsp chopped carrot
Rice Seasoning
- 🍚 2 bowls cooked white rice
- 0.5 tbsp sesame oil

Chop the carrot and green onion for the egg mixture.
Cut the spam into 4 equal pieces and pan-fry until golden on both sides.
Whisk the eggs in a bowl and mix with cooking wine, chopped carrot, green onion, and salt.
Heat oil in a pan and pour the egg mixture. Fold the egg into a rectangular shape matching the spam size.
Let the egg cool, place spam on top, and cut the egg to match the spam size.
Season the cooked rice with sesame oil. Avoid adding extra salt as spam is already salty.
Line a clean spam can with plastic wrap, add a layer of rice, and press firmly to shape.
Layer spam, halved perilla leaves, egg, and another layer of rice in the spam can.
Remove the musubi from the spam can using the plastic wrap.
Wrap the musubi with halved seaweed sheets, ensuring the edges stick together.
Repeat the process to make 3 more musubi and slice into serving pieces.
