Main Ingredients
- 🥔 3 potatoes
- 🧅 1/2 onion
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1-2 tbsp canola oil
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
- 🌰 a pinch of sesame seeds
手順
Cut the potatoes into bite-sized pieces and rinse them in water. Slice the onion into appropriate sizes.
Heat oil in a pan and add minced garlic to make garlic oil. Use low heat to avoid burning.
Once the garlic aroma rises, add the potatoes and onions to the pan and stir-fry.
Add 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 3 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tbsp sugar to the pan and continue stir-frying.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat until the potatoes are tender. No need to add water.
When the potatoes are almost cooked, add 1 tbsp corn syrup and simmer for a bit longer.
Turn off the heat and sprinkle sesame seeds over the dish before serving.
