- 1 block tofu
Seasoning
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 🧅 A small amount of chopped green onion
- Sprinkle of sesame seeds
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil

Prepare the sauce by mixing soy sauce, sugar, mirin, corn syrup, sesame seeds, minced garlic, and chopped green onion in a bowl.
Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces and pat dry to remove excess moisture.
Heat a pan on low heat without adding oil. Lightly fry the tofu to remove moisture and prevent oil splattering.
Add olive oil to the pan and fry the tofu until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
Pour the sauce over the tofu and simmer briefly until slightly reduced. Turn off the heat.
