Essential Ingredients
- 4 roots yeolmu
- 180g ground pork
- 🧅 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 stalk green onion, sliced
- 4 tbsp traditional doenjang
- 🧄 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp coarse chili powder
- 1 tbsp fine chili powder
- 1.5 tbsp gochujang
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 red chili, sliced
- 2 green chilies, sliced
- 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
- A pinch of sesame seeds
- Somen noodles, cooked
手順
Chop the onion, slice the green onion, green chilies, and red chili.
Prepare yeolmu by trimming and cutting into 2cm pieces.
Heat oil in a pan, add green onion to make green onion oil, then add ground pork and stir-fry.
Add chopped onion to the pan and stir-fry until softened.
Add doenjang to the pan and stir-fry until well combined.
Add minced garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, gochujang, coarse chili powder, fine chili powder, red chili, green chilies, and yeolmu. Stir-fry and add 2 ladles of water if too thick.
Add sesame oil, stir well, and turn off the heat.
Cook somen noodles in boiling water, rinse in cold water, and drain.
Plate the noodles, top with yeolmu doenjang stir-fry, and sprinkle sesame seeds.
