INGREDIENTES
Bread
- 🍞 2 slices French bread
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
Dairy
- 🧈 20g salted butter
- 🧀 40g pizza cheese
- 🧀 Grated cheese, as needed
Herbs
- 🌿 Chopped parsley, as needed
Soup Base
- 💧 400cc water
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp consomme
- Pepper, to taste
PASSOS
Thinly slice the onion and mince the garlic.
Heat butter and garlic in a pot until fragrant, then add the onion and stir-fry on high heat for 2–3 minutes to remove moisture. Reduce to medium-low heat and cook until caramelized.
Add the soup base ingredients (water, salt, consomme, pepper) to the pot and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
Divide the soup into heatproof containers. Top each with French bread slices, pizza cheese, and grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10–15 minutes until the cheese melts and turns golden. Sprinkle parsley before serving.
