INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 🥩 250g thinly sliced beef
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 whole scallion
- 🧅 1/2 bunch green onions
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 1 tbsp water
PASSOS
Cut the scallion into thirds, then halve each piece lengthwise and remove the core. Cut the green onions to match the length of the scallion.
Season the beef with salt and pepper. Layer the beef to match the length of the scallion. Place green onions and scallion on top, then tightly roll from one end. Secure with toothpicks. Repeat to make two rolls.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and cook until browned on all sides, turning occasionally. Add sake, cover, and cook on low heat for 3 minutes.
Add the seasoning mixture (mirin, sugar, soy sauce, and water) to the pan. Turn the rolls occasionally to coat evenly. Remove the rolls, slice into bite-sized pieces, and serve with the sauce poured over.
