INGREDIENTES
Base
- 🍚 1 bowl (200g) cooked rice
Protein
- 🥩 100g sliced beef
Cheese
- 🧀 20g pizza cheese
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/4 onion (50g), thinly sliced
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
- Pickled ginger, as needed
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1 tsp sugar
- 2/3 tbsp soy sauce
- A pinch of grated ginger
- 50ml water
PASSOS
Thinly slice the onion.
In a pot, combine the onion and seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, ginger, and water). Heat over medium heat until boiling, then cover and simmer on low heat for 2–3 minutes.
Add the sliced beef, breaking it apart as you add. Increase to medium heat and skim off any foam. Cover and cook on low heat for 2–3 minutes until the beef is cooked through. Turn off the heat and place the pizza cheese in the center. Cover and let the residual heat melt the cheese.
Serve the cooked beef and onion mixture over a bowl of rice. Garnish with chopped green onion and pickled ginger.
