- 1 piece hanpen (120g)
- 🧀 2 slices melting cheese
- 🧅 A pinch of chopped green onion
White Miso Glaze
- 2 tbsp white miso
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
PASSOS
Cut the hanpen in half and make a slit in the middle of each piece with a knife.
Fold each slice of melting cheese in half and insert one folded piece into each slit in the hanpen.
In a microwave-safe bowl, mix the white miso, sake, and sugar. Heat in a 600W microwave for 30 seconds.
Place the hanpen pieces on a baking tray, spread the miso glaze evenly on top, and toast in a toaster oven for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Garnish with chopped green onion before serving.
