INGREDIENTES
Protein
- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 🥔 10cm (300g) daikon
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 120ml water
PASSOS
Cut daikon into 1cm thick slices, peel thickly, and halve each slice.
Cut chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat, place chicken skin-side down, and cook until browned. Flip and cook until the color changes.
Add daikon to the pan and stir until coated with oil. Add the seasoning mix (☆) and stir. Bring to a boil, cover with a drop lid, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Remove the drop lid, add soy sauce, and simmer over medium heat for 10–15 minutes until the liquid reduces.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
