- 🌱 380g canned red kidney beans
Meat
- 200g ground meat
Vegetables
- 🍅 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
- 🧅 1/2 onion (100g), chopped
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
Spices
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 bay leaf
Condiments
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
PASSOS
Chop the onion finely and mince the garlic after removing its core.
Heat olive oil, garlic, and cumin seeds in a pan over low heat until fragrant. Add ground meat and cook over medium heat until browned. Add chopped onion and sauté until softened.
Add diced tomatoes, paprika powder, cayenne pepper, and bay leaf. Mash the tomatoes while cooking. Once boiling, reduce to low heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add the red kidney beans and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally to evaporate excess liquid. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
