INGREDIENTES
Meat
- 150g ground meat
Vegetables
- 🍆 3 eggplants (240g)
- 🧅 1/2 onion (100g), minced
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
Oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Cheese
- 🧀 40g pizza cheese
Seasoning
- 🍅 200g canned tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp consomme
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 💧 100cc water
Garnish
- 🌿 Chopped parsley, as needed
PASSOS
Cut off the stems of the eggplants. Slice them lengthwise into halves, then into thin slices (1cm thick). Soak in water and drain. Mince the onion.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add minced onion and sauté until softened. Add ground meat and grated garlic, cooking until the meat changes color. Add eggplant and stir until coated with oil.
Add canned tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, consomme, salt, pepper, and water. Mix well. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Remove the lid and cook on medium heat for 3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
Transfer the meat sauce to a heatproof dish. Top with pizza cheese and bake in a toaster oven for 5–6 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
