INGREDIENTES
Wrapper
- 15 wonton wrappers
Meat
- 200g ground pork
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 stalk minced green onion
- 🍄 2 minced shiitake mushrooms
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp potato starch
Condiments
- Soy sauce for serving
- Mustard for serving
PASSOS
Mince the green onion and shiitake mushrooms. Remove the hard stem of the mushrooms and separate the caps and stems before mincing.
Cut the wonton wrappers into thin strips about 4–5mm wide.
In a bowl, mix ground pork, minced green onion, minced shiitake mushrooms, and the seasoning ingredients (sake, salt, soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, potato starch) until sticky. Divide into 10 portions and shape into balls.
Coat each meat ball evenly with the sliced wonton wrappers.
Heat salad oil in a pot to 170°C (about 3cm depth). Fry the coated meat balls for 5–6 minutes until cooked through.
Serve on a plate with soy sauce and mustard on the side.
