INGREDIENTES

- 🐟 2 fillets cod
- 2 taro roots
- potato starch as needed
- 🧅 chopped green onion as needed
- salad oil as needed
Mentaiko Sauce
- 50g mentaiko
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
PASSOS
Peel the taro and cut into bite-sized pieces. Rub with salt to remove slime, rinse with water, and pat dry. Coat with potato starch in a bowl.
Pat the cod fillets dry, cut into quarters, and coat both sides with potato starch.
Cut open the mentaiko and scoop out the contents with a spoon.
Mix the mentaiko and mayonnaise in a bowl to create the sauce.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C. Fry the taro until golden brown on both sides.
Fry the cod until golden brown on both sides and cooked through. Plate the taro and cod, drizzle with the mentaiko sauce, and garnish with chopped green onion.
