INGREDIENTES
Fish
- 🐟 4 cleaned sardines
Vegetables
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Cheese / Dairy
- 🧀 50g shredded pizza cheese
Miso Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp miso
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
PASSOS
Prepare the sardines by butterflying them, removing the bones, and cutting them in half. Pat dry.
Mix the miso sauce ingredients (sake, sugar, miso, and garlic) in a bowl.
Place the sardines on a heatproof dish, spread the miso sauce over them, and top with shredded pizza cheese. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a toaster oven for 15 minutes until cooked through.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 3 minutes until the cheese is golden brown. Garnish with chopped green onion.
