- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar

PASSOS
Remove the innards and tentacles from the squid's body. Take out the cartilage from the body.
Cut the tentacles below the eyes. Flip the tentacles and remove the beak, then trim the tips. Rub off the small suction cups in a bowl of water.
Carefully remove the ink sac from the body and trim around the innards.
Wash the body and tentacles under running water and pat dry.
Cut the body into 1cm wide strips. Divide the tentacles into pairs and trim to even lengths.
Make a slit in the innards and extract the contents into a bowl. Mix with the seasonings (sake, sugar, miso, garlic).
Place the squid on aluminum foil, pour the sauce over, and wrap. Grill in a toaster oven for 10–15 minutes until cooked.
Sprinkle chopped green onion over the grilled squid before serving.
