- 🦑 150g frozen squid
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
Flour
- 50g all-purpose flour
Liquid
- 💧 100cc water
Egg
- 🥚 2 eggs
Condiments
- To taste okonomiyaki sauce
- To taste mayonnaise
Vegetables
- 🧅 To taste chopped green onions
PASSOS
Defrost the squid under running water and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Mix the all-purpose flour and water in a container to create a batter.
Heat half of the salad oil (1/2 tbsp) in a frying pan over medium heat, add half of the squid and a pinch of salt, and lightly stir-fry. Pour half of the batter over the squid and add one egg on top.
Cook for about 5 minutes, then flip the pancake. Press down with a spatula to flatten the egg and fold the pancake in half. Repeat for the second serving.
Plate the pancakes and garnish with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, and chopped green onions.
