INGREDIENTES
Rice
- 🍚 2 cups Japanese rice
Seafood
- 🦪 8 oysters, shelled
Vegetables
- 100g lotus root, sliced
- 🥦 125g broccoli, cut into florets
- 🧅 100g minced onion
- 🍅 8 cherry tomatoes, stems removed
Condiments
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 🍋 4 lemon wedges
Seasonings
- 💧 360ml water
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
Preparation
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
PASSOS
Slice lotus root into half-moon shapes, cut broccoli into florets, mince onion, and remove stems from cherry tomatoes.
Clean oysters by rubbing with cornstarch and rinsing thoroughly. Pat dry with paper towels.
Heat salad oil in a hot plate, sauté minced onion until softened, then add rice and stir until translucent.
Add water, dashi powder, soy sauce, and salt. Mix lightly and flatten the rice. Place lotus root and broccoli stems on top, cover, and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
Add oysters, broccoli florets, and cherry tomatoes. Cover and cook for another 5 minutes, then turn off heat and let steam for 10 minutes.
Garnish with lemon wedges and serve.
