INGREDIENTES
Fish
- 🐟 1 whole mackerel
Flour
- 2 tbsp flour
Oil
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion
- 2 green chili peppers
Sauce
- 1 tbsp gochujang
- 1 tbsp red pepper flakes
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- a dash of black pepper
PASSOS
Soak the mackerel in rice water for 20 minutes to remove the fishy smell.
Pat the mackerel dry and coat the flesh side with flour generously.
Heat cooking oil in a pan and fry the floured side first over medium heat without flipping until crispy.
Slice green chili peppers and green onion thinly for garnish.
Once the flesh side is crispy, flip the mackerel and apply the prepared spicy sauce evenly on the cooked side.
Cook the mackerel with the sauce applied until the skin side is fully cooked.
Garnish with sliced green onion and chili peppers before serving.
