INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 500g rice cakes (tteok)
- 3 sheets fish cakes
- 💧 500ml water
- 🧅 1/2 large onion
- 🌱 1 stalk green onion
Seasonings
- 4 tbsp gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- A pinch of black pepper
PASSOS
Soak the rice cakes in water to soften them.
Slice the onion, green onion, and fish cakes into bite-sized pieces.
Heat 1 tbsp of cooking oil in a pan and add 4 tbsp of gochujang.
Cook the gochujang for about 5 minutes until it becomes fragrant.
Add the rice cakes and sliced onion to the pan and stir-fry for 3 minutes over low heat.
Pour 500ml of water into the pan and bring it to a boil.
Add chili powder, sugar, minced garlic, corn syrup, soy sauce, and black pepper to the pan. Adjust the seasoning to taste.
Add the fish cakes and green onion, then simmer over medium-low heat until the broth thickens.
