INGREDIENTES
Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls of cooked rice (300g)
Beef
- 🥩 200g sliced beef
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- 🍄 1/2 pack shimeji mushrooms
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
Liquid
- 💧 150cc water
Butter
- 🧈 10g salted butter
Herbs
- Dried parsley, as needed
Beef Stew Sauce
- 1 can (290g) demi-glace sauce
- 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 🧂 A pinch of pepper
PASSOS
Slice the onion into wedges and trim the root of the shimeji mushrooms, separating them.
Season the beef with salt and pepper, then coat with flour. Shape into bite-sized balls.
Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, turning occasionally. Add onion and mushrooms, sautéing for 1-2 minutes.
Add water, cover, and simmer over medium-low heat for 7-8 minutes.
Add the beef stew sauce ingredients and simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Shape the rice into a heart using plastic wrap and plate it. Pour the beef stew around the rice and garnish with parsley.
