- 🐟 1 block sashimi-grade tuna (200–300g)
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🌾 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 💧 1 tbsp water
- 🍞 Enough breadcrumbs to coat
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Honey Mustard Sauce
- 🌰 1 tbsp grainy mustard
- 🍯 1 tbsp honey
- 🥪 2 tbsp mayonnaise
PASSOS
Mix grainy mustard, honey, and mayonnaise in a bowl to make the honey mustard sauce.
Pat the tuna dry with paper towels and lightly season with salt and pepper.
In a separate bowl, mix the egg, flour, and water until smooth.
Dip the tuna into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
Coat the tuna evenly with breadcrumbs.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan to 180°C (1cm depth) and fry the tuna for 1–2 minutes on one side, then flip and fry for another 30 seconds until golden brown.
Slice the fried tuna into bite-sized pieces, plate, and drizzle with the honey mustard sauce.
