INGREDIENTES
Seafood
- 🦑 1 squid (200g)
Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
PASSOS
Remove the squid's innards by inserting your fingers into the body and gently pulling out the tentacles and internal organs. Remove the cartilage and rinse quickly under water.
Detach the fins from the body by sliding your thumb under the connection and peeling them off along with the skin. Use a paper towel to remove the remaining skin.
Make shallow cross-hatch cuts on the surface of the squid body, spacing them 2–3mm apart.
Boil water in a pot and cook the squid until the cross-hatch pattern appears. Remove, drain, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the squid with the patterned side down and cook until browned. Add the seasoning mixture and coat the squid evenly.
