    • 🥕 1/2 carrot, julienned (75g)
    • 🧅 1/4 onion, thinly sliced (50g)
    • 1 tbsp tempura flour
    • Enough vegetable oil for frying

    • 50g tempura flour
    • 💧 70cc water

Wash the mozuku seaweed briefly and pat dry with kitchen paper.

Julienne the carrot and thinly slice the onion vertically after removing the core.

Mix the batter ingredients (tempura flour and water) in a bowl.

In a separate bowl, combine mozuku, carrot, onion, and 1 tbsp tempura flour. Add the batter and mix gently.

Heat vegetable oil in a pot to 170°C (about 3cm deep). Scoop 1/4 of the mixture with a large spoon and gently place it into the oil. Fry for about 3 minutes without touching until the surface sets, then flip and fry for another 3–4 minutes until crispy.
