INGREDIENTES
Main Ingredients
- 🧈 380g tofu
- 🧅 1 onion
- 🧅 1/3 green onion
- 🧂 a pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 150ml kelp broth
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp oligosaccharide
- 1/2 tbsp cooking wine
- 1/2 minced chili
- 🧅 1 tbsp minced green onion
- 🧄 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
PASSOS
Rinse the tofu under running water and cut it into 7 equal pieces.
Place the tofu on a plate lined with kitchen towels, sprinkle with a pinch of salt, and let it drain. Slice the onion and diagonally slice the green onion after peeling.
Mix soy sauce, chili powder, oligosaccharide, cooking wine, minced chili, minced green onion, and minced garlic to prepare the seasoning sauce.
Heat a frying pan with cooking oil and pan-fry the drained tofu until golden brown on both sides.
Add sliced onion to the pan and place the fried tofu on top.
Pour the seasoning sauce over the tofu and add kelp broth around the edges of the pan. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil.
Occasionally spoon the sauce over the tofu to ensure even seasoning while simmering.
Add sliced green onion, cover the pan, and simmer until the sauce is reduced and thickened.
Transfer the braised tofu to a serving plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
