INGREDIENTES
Dry Ingredients
- 170g all-purpose flour
- 🌽 140g cornmeal
- 6g baking powder
- 🍬 60g sugar
- 🧂 2.5g salt
Wet Ingredients
- 🥚 55g room temperature egg
- 🥛 160ml room temperature milk
- 🧈 55g room temperature unsalted butter
- 🌽 25g canned corn
- 🥚 A small amount of egg wash
- 🧈 A small amount of butter for topping
PASSOS
Sift together all-purpose flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt.
Add sugar, egg, milk, and butter, then mix well.
Knead the mixture lightly by hand until it forms a cohesive dough.
Add drained canned corn and mix evenly.
Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.
Score the tops of the dough and pipe butter on top.
Bake at 180°C for 25-30 minutes. Adjust time based on oven and dough size.
Transfer to a cooling rack and let cool completely.
