INGREDIENTES
Fish
- 🐟 1 fillet mackerel (140g)
Flour
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp potato starch
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 🍋 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
PASSOS
Pat the mackerel dry with paper towels and cut it diagonally into 6 pieces using a slanted slicing technique.
Mix the seasoning ingredients (sake, salt, pepper, lemon juice, garlic, ginger) in a bowl and marinate the mackerel for 10 minutes.
Combine all-purpose flour and potato starch in a separate bowl to make the coating. Coat the mackerel pieces evenly.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C (about 2cm depth) and fry the coated mackerel pieces for about 2 minutes until golden and crispy.
