    • 💧 3 tbsp water
  • Plum Chikuwa and Green Onion Mix

    • 1 chikuwa
    • 🧅 5 cm green onion
    • 1 umeboshi (pickled plum)
    • 2g bonito flakes

Cut the chicken tenderloins into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, mix the chicken, soy sauce, and mayonnaise. Wrap the chicken pieces with nori and coat them with potato starch.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and pan-fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through.

Place the pumpkin pieces in a microwave-safe container. Add mirin, mentsuyu, and water. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 4 minutes.

Remove the pit from the umeboshi and mash it. Slice the chikuwa and green onion diagonally. Combine them in a microwave-safe container with bonito flakes. Cover loosely and microwave at 600W for 1 minute.

Add the mashed umeboshi to the chikuwa mixture and mix well. Pack all components into a bento box.
